廈門市疾病預防控制中心有關負責人說：「口腔診療器械消毒不過關的最大危害就是傳播肝炎、艾滋病毒等容易通過血液傳播的疾病。」洗牙、拔牙等口腔科常規操作菌容易引起口腔粘膜破損出血，如果器械消毒不嚴格，交叉感染的後果將十分可怕。
