區別:
可以從企業與公司的區別出內發來看這個問題容:
企業這個概念的范圍要比公司包含的范圍廣得多.
公司,單由名稱來看,在我國只有名稱中包含"有限公司"字樣的才是公司,從本質上看,公司可以看作一個獨立的"人"(法律上的人),他以自己的財產獨立承擔民事責任,正常情況下,即使公司資不抵債,債權人也只能在公司自有資產范圍內得至清償,而不能要求公司的投資人(股東)承擔公司資產不足清償的債務.

而所有如公司、個體工商戶、公司設立的分公司……等等進行生產經營的單位都是企業。

其中個體工商戶、公司設立的分公司、個人獨資企業、合夥企業等非公司的企業，他們不具有法律上獨立的人格，他們的債務不僅僅要由該企業自己的財產來承擔，如果該企業的財產不足清償債務時，還要由投資者繼續承擔民事責任。

理論上的入門讀物最通俗易懂的我認為就是教材了，不推薦一開始就研讀學術專著，一是因為覆蓋面窄，一般都是針對某一問題寫出一本書，不利於打基礎，法學各個門類是融會貫通的；二是語言大多比較專業晦澀；三是主觀性較強，對一些學術界存在爭議的問題不同的學者觀點不同，如果基礎沒打好，很容易影響法學思維的培養。當然如果是出於興趣或對某一法學學者的觀點、風格特別欣賞不在此列。
